We've had holidays in Cyprus since 2001 and whilst we've enjoyed holiday apartments a number of other destinations, something kept drawing us back to this gem of the Mediterranean.
We were pretty quickly seduced by the laid-back lifestyle, fantastic food and warm reception each time we returned. So much so, that we simply had to have a place of our own here!
After months of scouring South East Cyprus, we finally discovered the coastal village of Kapparis in the Protaras area and Chromata Lagoon, which gave us everything we wanted - luxury, high spec accommodation, close to the beaches, restaurants and bars, yet far enough away to relax in total tranquility by the pool.
Kapparis is an up-and-coming and picturesque area. If you prefer a quiet, relaxing holiday, away from the noise of over commercialised resorts, but with plenty of nightlife when you want it, then Kapparis is for you. A wonderful pool with changing rooms and showers is on site and a selection of bars, excellent restaurants and several sandy beaches are all within easy walking distance. The lively resort of Protaras, which offers a wide array of nightlife and award-winning beaches is just 5 minutes away, whilst Ayia Napa with its many clubs, pubs and restaurants as well as the famous Nissi Beach and Waterpark, is a 10 minute drive.
The traditional Cypriot town of Paralimni is 2 minutes away.
